Bobby Dz Filters by Flanders are specifically designed to be of the highest quality and are a long lasting, air filter. By using our air filters you will filter your environment at your home or business making it cleaner for you and others to breathe easier. The extended pleated surface of Bobby Dz air and furnace filters provide a larger surface area to trap more particles from the air. Unlike others, our air filtering medium does not rely on an electrostatic charge to capture particulates. This electrostatic charge will dissipate over time and during use becoming less effective.

Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) is a standard for all air filters that rates the overall effectiveness of the filter. Higher MERV ratings equate to improved finer particle filtration, resulting in fewer dust particles and other airborne contaminants passing through the filter.
Some of the common particles that filters are tested for include pollen, dust mites, textile and carpet fibers, mold spores, dust, pet dander, bacteria and tobacco smoke.
Filter your environment with the MERV 8 furnace or ac air filters by Bobby Dz! Our top ranked MERV 8 filters capture 90% of airborne particles, including dust, debris, lint, pollen, and mold spores.
Air Filter Size
Bobby Dz Furnace and Air Filters are available in 1, 2 and 4-inch depths. Bobby Dz VP MERV 8 Pleated filters are available in a wide range of sizes. The frames are made of natural unbleached kraft board, All filters are listed by their nominal size, while each description contains the furnace or air filters actual size as well. The most important thing to remember when choosing your air filter is to use the correct exact air or furnace filter size by selecting the correct length x width x depth. Most HVAC filters have the size written on the side of your filter. If you do not see the size on the side of the air filter, simply measure your filter with a tape measure. It is important to use only the correct size when replacing your filters, as a filter that is too small can allow damaging particulates to enter the air stream, while filters that are too big may not fit the filter housing and can lead to airflow issues. In addition to the length and width of each filter, ensure that the depth measurement is appropriate to keep the HVAC system running properly. Variations in filter thickness can affect airflow to the home or building, and some systems will suffer from reduced airflow when improperly sized filters are used.
The MERV 8 filter is ideal for standard residential and commercial use. Filters should be replaced at least every 90 days, more often if you have pets, children, or allergy-sufferers at home. We recommend regularly replacing your filter every 2 months to ensure your air stays clean and the AC or furnace continues to work properly with as little wear and tear as possible.
Furnace Filter or Air Filter?
You’ve probably heard an HVAC technician refer to your filter as a furnace filter and an air filter, correct? Is there a difference? No! A furnace filter and an air filter are the exact same thing! You will commonly hear technicians referring to your filter as a "furnace filter" in the winter and an "air filter" in the summer. The reality is that both are made out of the exact same material and are completely interchangeable. In fact, in most residential homes both functions are performed by the same HVAC unit.
